Hitchmough’s is a highly regarded riding school. Facilities, horses and procedures are regularly checked for AIRE approval to ensure that the highest level of service and standards are continually met.
The equestrian centre is located in the beautiful Owenabue Valley with a panoramic view over Cork Harbour and it is an idyllic setting for all your equestrian needs with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Top standard tuition is offered by the most qualified staff in the region, with quality horses in a safe environment. Both private and group lessons are available to cater for all abilities.
Hitchmough’s Riding School specialises in a wide selection of training from show jumping and dressage to eventing and racing. All levels of rider are welcome, from beginners to competition riders, disabled riders, and career students.
A competition livery yard is also incorporated into the Hitchmough's Riding School operation. Billy Twomey, son of owner Jill Twomey, began his career here.
